Dieses in Brauntönen gehaltene collagierte Aquarell wirkt abstrakt. Mit etwas Phantasie lässt sich die Kontur eines Fischkörpers erkennen, der vom Meerwasser überspült und so mit Sand bedeckt wurde. Die Farben changieren von hellbraunen bis zu schwarzgrauen Tönen; partiell weiter oben auch unten rechts finden sich grau-bläulich wässerig wirkende Flächen. Das Ensemble wirkt wie die Nahaufnahme eines vom Wasser befreiten Meeresbodens, wie man ihn etwa bei Ebbe im Watt findet. Vielleicht und wahrscheinlich auch wie hier einfach am Strand. Die aquarellierte Fläche ist mit realem Sand bestreut, der auf der Oberfläche in der Farbe fixiert ist. Der Gesamteindruck spiegelt den etwas morbiden Charakter von schlickigem und faulig durchmischten Sandbodens.
