An der Sanddüne Helgolands hat gerade ein Boot angelegt, das die Kurgäste von der Insel auf die Düne bringt. Über einen Steg auf Rädern, der ins Wasser gefahren wird, gelangen die Passagiere von der Schaluppe ans Land. Am Ufer warten elegant gekleidete Feriengäste, einige sitzen auf Bänken. Rechts an der Anlegestelle ist die grün-weiß-rote Helgolandfahne gehisst. Im Hintergrund sieht man die Insel, auf dem Wasser dazwischen fahren kleine Segelschiffe.
