Die Farbfotografie zeigt einen kahlen Vernehmungsraum mit Stuhl. Im Vordergrund am linken Bildrand ist eine Stehlampe mit großem Scheinwerfer zu sehen, am rechten Bildrand ein Stück eines Tisches. Im November 2006 ist Sönke Dwenger gezielt zu Orten und Wirkstätten gefahren, die Geschichte museal tragen sollen – Orte, die eine Aura atmen, der man sich kaum entziehen kann. Es sind Mahnmäler, Bunkeranlagen oder Räume wie im ehemaligen Untersuchungsgefängnis des Ministeriums für Staatssicherheit der DDR in Berlin-Hohenschönhausen.
