Opening Hours

Sat-Sun 2-5 pm and by appointment.
The outdoor area of the museum can be visited at any time during the day.

The museum houses a collection of over 3,000 exhibits with a strong regional connection. Almost all exhibits come from the immediate surroundings. In the base building, the mill displays finds from the early Stone Age settlement and, further on, many things of daily life from the time between approx. 1850 and approx. 1960. In the historic mill, above the stone base, you will find numerous exhibits on the miller's trade. The Old Sawmill focuses on old trades such as wheelwright, blacksmith, thatcher and their tools, but here you will also find various witnesses to everyday life from over 100 years ago. You can explore the grounds at any time, even outside opening hours. Among other things, you will find the wagon shed with agricultural machinery and our old orchard with almost forgotten fruit varieties.
